Diversified Technique
Diversified Technique (DT) is the classic chiropractic treatment developed by D.D. Palmer, DC. Designed to correct biomechanical failure in each section of the spine, DT’s primary purpose is to restore function and correct subluxation.

(A quick and simple explanation is in order. A subluxation occurs when one or more of the bones in your spine shifts out of position to create pressure on or irritate spinal nerves. When this shift occurs, it interferes with nerve signals. And since the nervous system coordinates all the functions of your body, any interference in those signals can cause some part of your body to stop working properly. So it’s easy to see what an important discovery this was. Once a chiropractor determines the presence of a subluxation, he uses adjustment techniques that essentially allow the body to correct itself, restoring its own innate order and balance)
